Grade School and Religious Education Endowment Fund

Catholic schools of the Diocese provide students with a strong foundation in the Catholic faith. Catholic schools of the Diocese of Lincoln are recognized for their academic excellence, and more than 95 percent of those who graduate from the diocese's school system go on to higher education.

The endowment fund supports two areas of education:

1) Parish CCD and adult education programs

• Provides important education to public school students and Catholic adults. A direct response to the Church's commission to teach as Jesus taught.

2) Catholic Elementary Schools

• Provides support for the 26 elementary schools.

• Keeps tuition at levels that make Catholic education accessible to every Catholic family.
• Helps recruit and retain high quality teachers through faculty salary development.
• Develops innovative programs to maintain educational excellence in a rapidly changing environment.
• Provides program and curriculum development for CCD programs.
• Provides instructional materials and equipment.
